Your bike is dead. Don't cry or yell at me

Did u tell him about 12 speed tho

Maybe I’ll see him again in a year!

" I’ve run out of barrel adjuster and my brakes still dont work well"

Poor guy, his particular calipers with his frame just wont sit right on the rotor. He’s going to upgrade soon so instead of doing some weird filing or grinding we just replaced the pads.

Walked into my old shop and instantly recognized this wheel. Old coworker built this wheel for a customer we’ve both had for about 8 years. It’s as bomb proof as you can get, and today, it’s a potato chip. He claims the wheel folded while replacing a tube…

Wheel is two years old. Probably has 10,000 miles on it.

I guess Cannondale really wants to protect those spokes.

for the record, a much better bike nerd bracelet is a spoke bent into a bracelet. If I can remember when I get home I’ll take a photo of one I have. I never wear it but it’s a decent idea.

half to keep the spokes in, half to keep the rotor out. Just like the moat around the lion pen at the zoo

Came out of the box that way, apparently

I’m going to guess China just slapping those dork discs on everything these days

There’s a rad woman in Vermont who makes them, with the proceeds going to cool advocacy projects. https://tenderwarriorco.com/

That’s exactly what I’m thinking of but I got one from a dude I know in rva

Dork in the front, dork in the back. Double dork. Dork on both ends.
