What’s the deal with the red bag? What’s it for and how’s it attach?
Too small for me.
It seems very similar to the shortlived chrome rack duffel but perhaps a thinner/lighter material.
This was such a good bag, roll top and could be clipped in the centre or out to the sides, fully waterproof and had straps underneath for anchoring.
I’ve got the 139 version (thanks @shamp) and it’s very simple: clips in on the side with the roll top clips and loops around the basket. stays put pretty good and is fast to remove. very waterproof.
I have the chrome bag and it is really nice but I’ve had it so long that the waterproof liner on the cordura is peeling off. I wish that red bag was for a 139 basket.
Same! On mine the outer layer was cracked/peeling a little at the bottom folds, but that layer only goes up half the bag and the entirety of the inner is also lined so it’s still waterproof. I guess 12 years is an ok run. I actually passed it on to a friend for their basket bike recently as I’d retired the bike it was on.

How well would the walls basket bag work for a model 42, 17x12”?
Isn’t that the same as the 137, just without the hardware and stuff? Should work perfectly.
