Unpopular opinion:
Class2 should 100% be as a motorized vehicle. The proliferation of class two and out of class E bikes is analogous to the proliferation of lifted trucks and that it should’ve never happened to begin with, but we live in a libertarian hellscape that is incapable of any kind of common sense regulation after the fact.

Walked sup to the bus stop this morning and foster/sheridan was absolute mayhem
couple months ago I passed st pats while all the cops where staging for a funeral. they stopped all the cars but let us through so we all just blasted down an empty 5th ave with no cars. felt good

to the cops credit he was taking a man to the emergency room who claimed to have ODed on pills and then was shot in the head by said ODer in a fucking hospital and then my 1 year olds birthday party at the nearby park field house got to go on lockdown while a naked gunman was hiding somewhere around us. I’m not going to disparage another 30-something year old who got executed, shit sucked and sucks all around.

The entire parking lot at Foster Beach was full of cop cars from all over Chicagoland. Not just CPD.

The argument can be made that if the cop had done a better job of searching the guy, the guy wouldn’t have been able to create a dangerous situation in a hospital.
At the risk of sounding victim blamey, fuck that cop, this was 90% his fault.
Yeah no it wasn’t. Sure he might have slipped up when he didn’t search the guy thoroughly, but if a cop spends valuable time thoroughly searching an OD victim before taking them to the hospital, we’re all going to call him a nazi for not prioritizing the OD guy’s survival.
