Specialized has traditionally refused to sell the SmartWeld Allez track frames that they provide to their Red Hook riders, because they hate money.
I thought I read they were going to finally offer it this year, perhaps to keep the name across the line (most don’t really know the langster for all its gaudy city bike iterations). But now I can’t find it.

That was basically the only memorable bike from Mission Crit, although that may have mainly been becasue they were at the front of the pack the whole time.

I had a set of Ksyrium Elites that
-came with quick releases that opened if the wheels were exposed to any sustained vibrations (like descending a steep mountain road)
-had an exploding freehub
-came with a PLASTIC spoke wrench.
I have some really fond memories of riding various cxp rims from back when I was first diving deep into bikeland, but man, it would take an act of God to get me to try their stuff again now.
