hah. my first real bike was a lime green trail breaker with 200GS! About 10-15 years later I stumbled across another larger one and built it as an xtracycle briefly (and years later rebuilt the xtra on a nicer/newer infinity OS tubed trail breaker.)

Looks wack. Ergonomics aside, it must work okay. I’ve seen a similar setup in action, a 1x8 with XC pro thumb shifter atop a drop bar.

I bought a Silnylon tarp kit from Ray a few years ago. It was $60 for materials and design. Sewing it was a giant pain in the ass because I am straight up terrible at that shit. Since I have mostly only gone bike camping in the PNW summer, I have only used it in the lightest of morning drizzles. I suspect it may get put to the test in the midwest.
Everything about the quality – seam tension, seam straightness, sealing, everything – is bottom of the barrel. I would gladly spend up to $150 on a decently made tarp.
