Should I get this or something else?
It was a toss up between that or Ride Wrap’s chainstay armor for me.
Some of the thiccc 3M tape would work, too.

ok can we go back to the BMB stem now? I find it funny that all these mtb marketers are all of a sudden like “whoa you’re more upright and it feels so good, relaxed, etc”. Jeff Jones must be having a conniption fit.

I’m sure you’ve already thought of it, but rolling your TA adapter forward can buy a bit of space at the back.
Yeah, I could probably lay the Rocky Mounts TA adapter completely flat. It would still be hanging, but on enough that I could use two ratchets instead.
In reality, I only have one bike that can actually work with the fork clamp on those racks. I should get a TA-specific tray, but I’ve been putting it off because $$$.
