It wouldn’t. Actually, WD40 will stop rust (e.g. Water Displacement-40). There’s some bare metal hotrods/show trucks that will actually spray down the entire body with WD40 to stop it from rusting for the first couple shows. Then either let it rust, or finish off the paintwork. I thought it was kinda dumb till i read why. They do it do demonstrate that the flawless body is all metal work, not fiberglass or body filler.

I actually have this sticker on my bike too. It came in the mail from an insurance company. There was another like of text that was trimmed off in this pic and I did the same thing. I can’t remember what it says. ITT i has lots of stickerzzz
