I think its because it’s not riser bars on a drop stem. I thought the general consensus was that’s how you do it. Or at least a flat bar on a drop stem. You’re not supposed to use a flat bar with a positive rise stem on a track bike that’s just silly.
no i dont think its the brakes. I have seen bikes with similar setups that look fine. I think it is that it just looks forced.

whats the point of selling it like that stock? they take their lower end track bike with the most aggressive geo and make it into a townie deal? it seems like anyone who likes the idea of that thing wants a san jose anyway.
I still want a Fremont.
