I got to rip around on this with my friend this weekend. He says it’s 19lbs, all I know is that it’s fun as hell:
ssmtb is kind of the best
Am I the only one seeing that bike as half sized?
I’m seeing it as oversized. 29+ was a weird trend
Singlespeed plus bike is so good though. So much traction!
Probably still has that new bike smell
Is that the fork that was broken in the other thread?
my first thought
I don’t think so, pretty sure that’s a Doppo fork that comes with that frame. steel, not ti, I think. the broken fork was a bearclaw
Yup, that’s the bike
Isn’t the railroad hideously overgrown east of the city? When I was on the trolley last week it looked like the groundcover was pretty enthusiastically overgrowing the line just east of 39th?
Sections aren’t too bad between 39th and Alderbrook/the end of the river walk. Past that It’s very over grown. I’ve tried to hike out to The swing bridge and it’s absolutely impassible passed Tongue point.
Maybe strap some heavy-duty weed whackers to the front of the thing and head off towards pdx!
Is the whole thing just welded together? How do you transport it to/from tracks?
Not sure…I’ll try to get more pictures
It’s definitely all welded together. The post says, “It’s light enough we just pick it up and move out of the way when the trolley comes along.”
Maybe just tip it up on the back wheels and push it around?
Apparently this is a thing
The rear pivot is the bb somehow. Chain stays are sticking through a window in the rear of the shell
I desperately want one. I talked to a guy briefly who was riding one at a local bike park and he was like “it’s worth every penny dude!” then dropped in to a black line and disappeared.
