Bags and stuff

This little partial framebag started it’s life as a project to fit the wee crack of a CANNONDALE KILLER-V 900.

The bike is gone but I still had a 2 halves cut, one panel with the zipper sewn in. As I talked my (sup? is that the term) through making her own framebag, I realized with 2 or 3 well intentioned cuts I could change the geo to fit my stumpyumper.

Outer daisychain is a JDRazor scooter carrying strap. The first thing I (my parents) ever ordered online as a kid was a JDRazor scooter from GetBoards.com… sold as Razor in US and Canada, I can only assume it was a Japanese Domestic Razor.

Because I can’t throw good stuff away (see above) this seemed like the perfect spot to use it up.

I spy at least 8 different materials? Love it

I will say that attachment style along the bottom seems to work fine but along the top has caused some droop. I like to add attachments along the top seam so it wraps the tube a bit more. Nevertheless, good to see another MYOGer on here.
p.s. what’s the reflector flag thingy? Yours?

It’s a mash for sure. We had a bit of a fury as we got ready to move trying to make some stuff before parting ways with the fabric. The attachment was really abysmal, especially because I was using elastic. I’m actually ““working on”” a new top attachment attachment (yes, double) that might be what I’m looking for.

The flag is an old garage sale find. Seems to be another variation of this one… I love it, instant false sense of security.

Next up for your consideration is a rice bag. I have the recipe if anyone wants it, the company is Les Original tourist equipment and we make only this.

I carry a few little things in there when I’m packing

What bag makers are y’all into right now? I feel out of the loop and have been trying to throw a bunch of money at someone.

Check out HMPL from Vancouver @hmpldesign on IG. Good construction quality, cool guys.

What are you looking for?

Something to stock at the shop. Bar bags, snack bags, frame bags.

‘hand made in San Francisco’ always looks good.

I’m pretty disgusted in myself. I have a machine and too disorganized to build anything. Just paid for two stem bags. Maybe I will build a new front roll holder thingy.

You literally couldn’t pay me to make bags. Trust me, people try. I like my hobbies to be hobbies.

They are always first in line for my personal purchases but they have a massive presence in another shop nearby and we are tryna let them have their space

Makes sense. We do a fair bit with Swift too (of course).

There’s also Outer Shell Adventure. But I know he was pretty backlogged at the start of the pandemic and shops were left with no stock. Not sure if that’s been rectified.
