Bicycle Secrets

i just use spit for grips, haha

they make lockons too now: http://cycling.renthal.com/shop/cycle-products/cycle-grips

ESI grips are awesome when it comes to never twisting. Install with Windex. Only downside is they get a bit slippery if you ride gloveless and get clammy hands in heat.

you talkinbout these things? http://shop.lizardskins.com/collections/featured-homepage-products/products/dsp-grips-30-3mm

these also look interesting, another non-kraton grip: http://www.eastoncycling.com/product/lock-on-grips-2/

In my case it’s these;

Not squishy, grippy as hell, thin.

WTH Fred has never ridden Peatys?

Fucking gripchat.

Still better than batrape chat. Haven’t touched on that controversy in a while now. Cinelli cork anyone?

Use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove it.

BOOM! Full circle.

I use cloth tape on everything. No grips. I’ll never go back to rubber grips.

Cloth tape over tightly wrapped old tube, a skinny one.

Another vote for peaty’s.

gorss

was waiting for that one

Sometimes pedals aren’t marked with L or R. Sometimes they’re marked in weird places. Sometimes they are just poorly printed.

So here’s a secret to stem the frustration: hash marks always indicate the left pedal. Sometimes there’re a lot, or just a couple, or sometimes it’s a ring around the spindle, but it always indicates left.
