Chris King lower paired with Cane Creek upper.
Maximum jank.
Fancy headset press with a missing part or two that I scored from a moving sale.
Stock headset is aluminum cups, split race, cartridge bearings, good anodizing. Saving interesting headsets for something else.
Random basic jank wheels.
Been a while since I used this. Glad I didn’t ask Eric to turn it into a knife.

Bah, confounded. Lockring threads are completely stripped. I can push the lockring on with my palm.
I have another wheelset but it’s not here at the moment. Also I can see my breath out here, time to clean up. Guess I’ll have to finish this tomorrow.
Fender check.
How are you attached the rear fender? I drilled and tapped the dropout plates.
Yeah that’s the plan, once I get wheels/tires where I want them.
EDIT: and I’m so chapped that I couldn’t finish last night, getting a chunk of bike work time all at once is rare for me.
Bumping!
Did you spend 5 months polishing those cranks? Cause they look amazing
Please put a clear coat on the cranks if you polished them
No funny thing is I was trying to do this el cheapo and not care, but these NOS cranks happen to be perfect for what I want. The chainring likewise is an NOS downhill ring that happens to be the BCD and toothway I think I want.
wait a minute
I just noticed.
So fresh and silvery
