Bike blerg thread

I missed this, but it interests me.

Actually, I think it was an R5ca I was offered, but yeah, it was still astronomically expensive, even with the pro deal. A full build from Cervelo was like $18k, I think.

I’m somewhat mistrustful of anyone who doesn’t utilize this key storage method.

I’ve always used them, but usually the cheap gas station ones and want to upgrade.

I put my keys on a keychain, and put it in my pocket. I’m wild, I know.

I seem to remember hating on this but now I can’t remember why. Heavy? 70* hta? Anyway, time has mellowed me and it looks fun (but not as fun as if it had 66* hta.)

70* is weird, but I feel it could work since it’s not suspension corrected. Could prob fit an adjustable headset w/ the 44mm headtube?

70/73 is some 90s mtb

Cool Black Mountain Cycles la Cabra

Have you seen PYB? Put a basket and ‘alt-bars’ on it and it’s 90% of Tarck’s bikes these days.

La Cabra has a way higher head tube, this is a 90s MTB with discs and a steeper STA

what’s the ballpark pricing on the open min.d MUSA? Frame only. I’m not NOT in the market for a carbon frame and could probably convince myself to spend up to like 5k.

the normal one is $3700 MSRP, an Allied MUSA carbon frame is ~$4.5k MSRP, so that’s probably the floor for the min.d MUSA ?

7500. its a whole lot. i don’t even know how cervelo was charging like 10 bongs for their MUSA models in the same facility.

Is that 5 hundo or 5 bongs? One is a screaming deal, one is a hell naw.

7500. The 7 got cut off and the for string is weird. For that much I’ll get a crumpton or have @ProCracknfailBro hook something up.

$7500

Woof.

Guess I’m very much not in the target market for this.

I mean, a made in Taiwan s-works frame is $5.5k now. Top end bikes be expensive.
