Alternately I hope a few builders buy the tools and fixtures, keep it going under another name.

My grandfather worked with Frank brilando in Chicago. I have always imagined I needed a paramount but it’s not the riding I do

I have an 88 paramount in a size 57 built from SLX. I love it so noodly. I think I probably need to build it up 8-10 speed.

Don’t see many Waterfords or Gunnars down south here. Used to always be a few shiny Waterfords out on RAGBRAI. Kinda forgot about them but still a bummer

Now I don’t want to sell my Gunnar even though last time I rode it I decided I need to sell it because I’ll never love it

Counterpoint: now (or once operations actually cease and they show off the last few bikes, maybe have a retrospective show) is the perfect time to sell your Gunnar. There are plenty of bikes out there from defunct MUSA brands if you want to scratch that itch later.
