how much money is in the tarck slush fund
i was gonna say!!!
The ultimate troll on the part of Rocky Mountain would be to give a weird bike message board the bikes dot com domain.
the way the bike industry is going these days, the tarck slush fund might actually have more liquid capital than anyone else
I was reading the old vsalad thread where all the pics are gone so I was thinking “this is an overreaction” but then went to my parent’s house this weekend, found the issue in the basement and was like “lol yeah he fucked up”.
Not really worth re-reading. Everyone gets mad, Jan doubles down (natch.), and Craig Gaulzetti calls him a fucking idiot.
It’s funny that the bike was removed from the BQ bike tests, but in the last year or so for some reason

2 fingers full of post
lmao, all time classic bike internet drama
I was with @turpentine the day Peg died and we had a nice long laugh recounting the jan saga.
I had no idea about kite talk! I have had one of their Zenith offerings for a number of years and love it. I stumbled across their website again and thought these would be perfect for bikepacking. We flew it at the kite festival in Ocean City last year. It was so fun. Where is kite talk??
I don’t remember what thread it was in but I was coerced by the team of experts to buy a pocket flier a couple months ago! they are quite a treat to fly and so packable
it’s only a matter of time before velo orange starts stocking cross country skis. there is a japanese manufacturer who supposedly makes super high end shit and igor could customize the layup and get some Vintage Properties and then do a classy topsheet and it would sell like at least two times
XC skiing of a certain ilk really is exactly just VO style ATB shenanigans, but on snow
would love to see this obvious market venn diagram be capitalized on a bit
sadly for me i am into the crit racing and long road racing versions of the sport
psh i snowboard. I have been riding my K2 El Dorado since new and last season people were complimenting my vintage board. I’m the old man now.
fine we don’t want you either
Dont sleep on these packable silicon disks… Ive been carrying them on MTB rides in my hip pack lately. They are fun.
I bought a kite to keep behind the seat in my bakfiets box for impromptu kite flying!
Thanks Igor!
Those look cool!
