I’m 100% for using parts he already has but he still has to buy some stuff and he wants good value for money spent, so “just build it” isn’t really that helpful.

Sure, you could throw some typical coop/parts bin stuff on it, but at a certain point why bother doing a scratch build?

It’s in our blood, even if we pretend we have outgrown it. In fact, we have become a little muted, but still love the shit out of it.
