he doesnt bomb or anything anymore but uses the outsider image of “writer” to profit. he’s a great artist, and used to be a very very good writer when he was writing. I actually know where theres a really small TWISTO scratchie, and im on the east coast. he earns my respect as an artist and had my respect when he wrote. that comment was more directed towards KAWS anyway.

i think both Barry & KAWS have earned their street cred… a long time ago.
as a former gallery owner, i think it’s great that their finally able to make a living by producing art, street or commercial.
Yeah Barry Mcgee just recently visited houston where I live and left behind a trail of twist throwies and tags. Thus proving he is no fake and he still gots it. Can’t vouch for kaws, but they are both great artists. Fuck RVCA though.
