OEM Lefty steerer tube and headset designs are ridiculous
like instead of using angular-contact headset bearings, Cannondale makes different forks for each bike size with the clamps spaced to the heatube, and industrial radial-contact bearings that get preloaded exactly by the fork
they’ve also switched around a few times between 1.5" threadless stem clamps, stems that insert into the steerer tube, and stems that ARE the steerer tube
