a) No.
b) I think everyone who would be interested in that has tried it, and found that the reality of vintage stumpjumping is actually underwhelming.
I could see buying it just to salvage the fork crown, but it would be forward to ask my sweetie’s dad to buy it and scrap it for me.
If that stumpie was a 22" I’d have it with a basket locked up out in front of the grocery store. No doubt, no hesitation.
The only dirt it would ever see is the gravel path behind my house. Anyone who tells themselves a bike like this is meant to be ridden on trails in 2019 is lying to themselves.
I’d be into it if the how many bikes thread hadn’t enlightened me to the fact that I have like three times as many bikes as other tarckers
I had one of those. It was fine. It did not revolutionize bicycle riding for me at the time.
I’d basket bike it. But I already have a vintage mtb basket bike that I should get rid of.
Naw dog i have a Kona dew which serves exactly the same purpose and which stops because it has disc brakes.
No u
not meant to be ridden on trails, but absolutely meant to end up there accidentally with a six pack/dangle bong involved and be totally the wrong bike with its only saving grace being that the tires are kinda big
this is weird. carbon/alum/steel frame?
my dad has a cool aluminum main tubes with steel fork and rear triangle bike that i posted here in its past form 9ish years ago and got made fun of for the poor setup and i didn’t know enough to tell
you how well it rode.
i think i’m gonna borrow it again and find out.
Thanks for the heads up so I can prepare to tell you how poorly it’s setup when you post it
Can’t wait.
true.
That kinda shit is never an XL.
San Jose? I’ll grab it for ya if you want
No room or energy for more projects but thanks!
