There’s a 50kmh headwind in Sydney right now, reckon I’m getting the bus home and tackling it tomorrow when it’s only 30kmh…

It is. This is why Kiwis come to live in Melbs for the better weather ! I am so lame, I look at the forecast and ride to work with the tailwind and come home on the train !

Not sure if this is the thread but…

Has anyone figured out a system for keeping a few beers chilly between the last store stop and camp? I often find myself a few hours between buying some ice cold beer and actually getting to the place to enjoy it.

insulated hydroflask and just re-house the beer from the cans? We have their 32oz growler that we use for this purpose, but usually fill directly from the brewery.

Get the beer and some ice into anything really.
Cut the tops off two bidons, beer can in one with ice on top and the other beheaded bidon goes on like a cap and the whole thing slides right into your bottle cage.

Drink the beers while riding out of your feed bag. Enjoy whiskey at your destination. Problem solved

Go straightedge or pack Xanax

fill the 32 oz hydro flask with ice, enjoy beer over ice.

“roughing it”, you know?

I’m definitely going to try this next time. I’ve got a mount under my downtube that will only fit something short and wide. Perfect place for some sort of insulated canister. Just need to find something the right shape.

Face to the Additive Manufacturing Thread, please.

i’ll be honest, i feel like a moron for never thinking of this before
