This happened to my shop owner, except he stole it back, then they tracked him down and they stole it back again. He’s probably lucky they didn’t do anything else.
Dude broke his leg in a fall, then his arm in a fall, and still finished the Iditarod in Alaska on a fatbike.
A friend of mine had his bike stolen a few years ago. About two weeks later he saw someone riding it, so he stepped out onto the road in front of them and boomed “GET THE FUCK OFF MY BIKE!!!”. Dude stopped, jumped off and ran away.
