Dammit: Post your bike

Oh spoiler alert, the mtb ones are going to weigh more because the arms are exactly the same and the spindle is wider

The concept of the middleburn Crank was to have a modular chainwheel system where one could buy a mtb/road spindle and any spider size.

The downsize to this was that their system was heavy.

My point, spelled out in excruciating mansplainy words is: good concept, weight penalty

What the fuck Mig, you are on about 2x road cranks, weight and the merit of their concept.

I’m not saying their road offerings are light, good or anything? I have precisely ZERO opinions on their road cranks and what they weigh. I don’t think any one checking this thread is interested in pictures of your 2x Middleburn road cranks as a proof of their heaviness following pictures of my mtb?
I posted my fucking custom full steel 160/170 enduroslayer (which is AcTuAlLy pretty light at 14,7kgs) and then you jump in complaining about Middleburns concept/weight/not being up to par. I don’t give a flying fuck about you mansplaining your f e e l i n g s about the general disappointment they are to you?. Get the fuck out of here and into your Mig muses on two wheels for that whiny bullshit.

I FUCKING RIDE THEIR MTB CRANKS FOR FUCK SAKE, GET OVER YOURSELF.
Seriously I am a Socialist Centimeter™ away from blocking your stupid ass and shitty mansplaining attitude. Fuck.

Oh and also, would you treat/respond to @jordanpattern, @amy, @capn_FANCYpants or @theKearney this way? I don’t think so. But since you perceive me as a dude (which I’m not thank you very much) I guess mansplaining and derailing is on par for you. You are fucking embarrassing Mig.

@viggen can you post a picture that shows the yellow grips a little better? I can’t help but thinking an old yellow flite saddle could look nice if even a bit over the top.

I mean what the fuck?

That’s a beautiful bike. I wish I had trails near that I could have fun on w the Betty thing

people also don’t get steel full squish enduro bikes for the weight. just cuz there’s an objectively higher performing part out there doesn’t mean it’s 100% the right item for all.

vig- you do you and keep shredding harder than most of us (including but not limited to me). i think those cranks look great on that bike even with the explicit knowledge that lighter options exist! badass shredmobile

What the overall bb height? Napkin guess is around 340? My process with the long shock and fork is at like 360, which I think has left it feeling a little funny. Gonna have to see how much the proper length shock drops it. Or put 27.5 wheels on and basically make the bike I just got rid of…
