Not to get all Yawn Heine, but I think it can be kinda fun to ride an olde bike with inferior components. Slow shifts and clunkiness can be charming. When I want a flawless, modern drivetrain, I get on a different bike.
I like riding old bikes. I also like riding new bikes. I like bikes.
All of this is fine, but not in line with Jan at all. Any hint of a whisper suggesting inferiority of reenactment machines is fightin’ words.
Nice Shawver bottle
Amazing
Man, I’ve always wanted an orange bike. Nice combination of black/silver components.
I feel like you need a carpet fibre something
Maybe something more aero
Breezer Finesse townie whip. Stupid deal for the money. The stock bar situation was bunk, and I don’t like the saddle. But would recommend.
Working on getting some wider bars on there but I don’t have any carpet fibre anything laying around.
Those townies have always been a great deal. I remember selling them in 2006 and being stoked at how great they were compared to the similarly priced bikes we sold from giant and raleigh.
Kinda love that cantilevered rear rack.
I’m not really sure what to do with it. Basket? Doesn’t seem like it would work with panniers. The stuff sack and bungee are my interim solution for schlepping.
Well those all look intimidating.
do Any of them barspin
