Dammit: Post your bike

Oookay.

None of the local cat1 / pro guys are tubular anymore. All went tubeless

I mean you know way better than I do, but I thought that disc brakes mean no more rim wear, and even cheap carbon rims were strong as hell nowadays.

Bike looks cool as fuck, aero elements really cane together to make a great machine

With discs the only true answer is carbon all day baby

Yeah, no reason to fuck with tubulars in this day and age. They make nice clinchers that are just as fast.

Tubeless rocks.
This tire was still up this morning on my walk.

Looks like someone is trying to chop down that tire.

The ride was too smooth (!?!?!) So they fixed it.

Well, here we go! Ready to rock and or roll! Back on the road!

And now you get to find out if my fillet brazing can withstand a Chicago winter.

We’ll see! I just rode it 2.2 whole miles and nothing exploded!

at my old shop we once had to sell a dude a new wheel cuz he broke a spoke but his tube was 100% full of slime that had hardened. oddly enough he was one of my favorite customers. just a real nice, very not wealthy dude who wouldn’t bat an eye at us telling him his commuter (only bike, only wheels) needed a substantial amount of money thrown at it. not sure how he got his tires so full and hard with slime though.

Took it for it’s great ride, very happy with it. Still adjusting to double tap but bike rides very smooth and feels quick.

Then almost lost it after hitting a bump on 285 leaving the bike dangling behind the car. Next time using a bungee cord to secure a long with the straps.

Then got home and this showed up, pretty easy to assemble and should do all I need it to
