I don’t know. I had it floating around. Just for fun.
Helped for me, maybe confirmation bias tho.
not 100% sure if they help with braking power but they definitely help with lookin cool
TC: I was no-handed JRA on my old MTB with a brake booster when the bolt in the saddle clamp failed. The booster was the only thing that saved my junk from getting pulled into the seat stays by the tire.
One weird aspect of pandemic is that I don’t have any place to ride to most of the time, so I don’t need bags or a lock etc etc. That means I’ve been putting a few more miles on this bike:
