Goddamnit Gary, your repaired bike looks way cooler than my repaired bike.
Guess you gotta break yours again?
I checked out their nstagram and they have some cool multicoloured mudflaps.
I’m happy to lend the services of mine if you’d like
It takes a village (to paint a bike frame).
xpos’ed
my hope is that she says “silver” but i’m not going to encourage anything
Thx
OK. at first she said silver. but i think she was identifying the current color. final verdict: purple
Purple is better than silver.
New tires finally are holding air after several days of me devoting literally minutes to the problem before giving up and having a shop do the front.
Tires feel good, though. This bike is still fucking awesome. I should ride it more.
Dusted this thing off and got it working for some quality underbiking. Put the dropper back on with a remote that actually works well and put it to use.
this might be a 2021 dentist bike but i love it. Campy Ekar 1x13 is dope and I would recommend it to a friend!
What are those bars? Is it lens or is there a sweep back and flair?
Campy is still a going concern?
Thirteen speeds?
I need to pay more attention!
bars are Zipp XPLR in the lighter SL version. There’s like a 10-degree outsweep which I like a lot. the big thing is there’s only a 5 degree flare to the drops so the hoods don’t sit at an awkward angle like a lot of other gravel handlebars. Also the tops are slightly ovalized too, with a little bit of backsweep. they’re my go-to regardless of pricepoint.
There’s another version that’s like $60 with the same bend.
this groupset a whole lot of buzzwords which, when mixed with gravel bikes, is a cocktail for a bid at relevance. I’m a campy fan, but the jumps in between gears are basically just right for going fast or slow.
Where is that trail? I need an excuse to put the thunderbutts on my day ruiner.
it’s just pipeline trail in Millcreek Canyon. perfect for a set of thunderbutts.
i can help you make it a loop of something if you want. lmk
