Dammit: Post your bike

If Shimano makes a dura ace 1x group I’ll believe it but I’m not completely sold

Wanted to dew up the gravel bike I dont ride, to see if I’d like that more. Didn’t have any qr 27.5 wheels, but did have this 26" stuff to try it out. Built up with whatever is in the parts box since everything is out of stock. Just rained, will have to see how it feels as a shitty rigid mountain bike

That thing sure looks cool. Hope it rides a sweet as it looks.

That saddle angle is bad and you should feel bad

He will as soon as he rides it!

Spirit level flat

Is the ground spirit level flat?

lol I swear it looks flatter in real life than that picture, I’ll let you all know if you’re right about the angle once I ride it

Edit: just back from a short ride on the nearby trail, hfy this is a great bike now, except for the janky saddle angle that has been fixed

Post is some awful ks thing that I got about 6 years ago because it was the only 27.2 dropper I could find. It’s pretty awful and I need something shorter since my legs are not long enough

Also I really missed a lot of details slapping this together

been wanting to try these. I love my regular zipps for cx stuffs, but been wanting some flare for gravel.

same here tbh. personally I think that Zipp’s alloy bars are one of the best-kept secrets in cycling. I have their old SL70 classic bend drops on my TIME road bike and I won’t use anything else.

Those bars are amazing, I wish I hadn’t sold mine. They only made them for like 1 year.

While we’re geeking out on inexpensive bars…

These are my current favorite.

Feels good all around. Flat to hood transition is perfect (at least with Sram mechanical 11s), drops have this funky flare I like, top feels great fir seated climbing with a slight forward sweep.

hopefully the last time i need to build this fork into a frame for a while.

what’s the kickstand situation on that thing?

it needs one

my unsolicited recommendation is for the ursus jumbo, assuming the frame has the right mounting setup.
front load is way easier to wrangle with two legs

yeah that’s on my short list. so your recommendation seals it. i have no kickstand plate but have extensive experience doing highly custom kickstand installs

might need to get creative with cable routing but that can be done
