Dammit: Post your bike

it really does (more or less) check (more
or less) every box other than disc brakes. and i’m sure orc could tunelessly whistle that issue away

If disc brakes are important one could give up the triple triangle and just order a wiggle bike or Hunter gatherer this month. Maybe.

is this the nite moves?

Man mine only has two of those things :frowning: When I got it the OG fork was long gone, the dude I bought it off of had it set up 700c with a canti fork from some other GT. Still had the flippy stem that I ended up selling to another tarcker after I went threadless. If you get a minute could you measure the A-C of the stock fork for me? I’d like to see how out of spec my dick fork is.

Is wiggle bike going to be the custom I’ve been dreaming up for the last year or so?

I rode my single speed Bullitt up the steep little sledding hill near my house.

Not done still. The Grandest of Bois are shipping me a new shorter stem and some French style bars and some nitto cages and then it’ll be closer to completion

The XO shifter set up friction (I’m assuming) is pretty choice.

Yeah not bad, thanks!

this looks like a nice rendition of this style of bike! two questions: can you lower the rear light a tiny bit so you can angle it straight back, and how come one sided pedals?

Those single-sided SPD pedals give a really good amount of support compared to the basic ones and are not as clunky as the “trail” versions of the double sided ones… plus I’m guessing “silver” was an important feature.

A600 and ES600 Shimano pedals are really something nice but be careful saying that outloud as you risk Tarck crucification

  1. Light is temporary. Eventually I’ll be running a light off the seat powered by the dyno.
  2. pedals are what I have. they provide, as @EndpointBraden says, better support

i for one look forward to the time equivalent that will never be released

There was a single-sided Time pedal bitd

i hadn’t seen those Sierra’s before.

a bit less BITD there was also the ‘allroad gripper’. Not great, platform isn’t that good, and doesn’t hang oriented for cleats so entry is annoying.

That’s what they were called! I was googling with no luck. I had a pair on my Devinci. You’re right on both counts, the platform wasn’t great but fine and they would hang in weird ways at times. I used them on a couple tours where I was switching footwear occasionally.

Really curious to see if SRAM does something cool with the Time pedal business
