Rad. How did you route the dynamo cables?
I have a dream that I can find a way to run it through that port and out the DI2 hole near the pusher.

I think I did the Di2 SD50 wire cover on the underside of the toptube and inside the fork leg. There might technically be a cleaner solution, but that works really well. And is basically invisible.
Inside the drive side fork leg?!
Yeah, I think I just ran a little piece of the wire cover tape up the inside of the drive side fork leg. I’m at work now, so I can’t 100% confirm, but I don’t think the fork has internal wire routing?
Right. That’s what I thought. We’re on the same page.
If you’re feeling very helpful could you take some pics so I can dither some more?
that’s also a very classy garage door
Thank you, but in addition to needing a power washing, the bottom panel looks like it has a spray paint touch-up covering… something. I don’t think the panels are made of a rot-able material so… idk.
Anyway, I want to paint them some kind of gray, as an accent color against the brick and brown trim going on everywhere else. Might replace the bottom panel before that happens, depending on closer inspection.
the most scared ive ever been on a bicycle was as the stoker on a tandem mtb. its like when you fall in a dream and wake up in a panic, except that panic lasts for several minutes.
exquisite
That rules josh.
that’s lit as fuck. some of my best memories are coming in first/last in the tandems class at the local shits and giggles thursday night races. we spent a lot of time dismounting and getting the fuck out of the way for when people lapped us for the second time on the same lap but damn it was fun. also was at the worst place for tandem mtb- nothing but super tight turns and logovers so the locals couldn’t bring dirt bikes in
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind @Timarchylime about that time Amy and I ran him into the tape with Ray’s old tandem, on a steep ass runup, after 55 miles of gravel grinding, coz we love him.
Damn I was hurting so bad. Tried to ride the last 5 miles of rolling hills with just one leg because of ITB.
You have a weird idea of fun.
Also, kinda jealous of you having that kind of relationship with your partner.
big smile riding to work today:
Thinking i might actually keep the metal bin. i think it’s a better fit for me than bigant. we will see.
waiting on spokes to build disc dynamo wheel and hook the lights back up.
we like the fork
