Dammit: Post your bike

Do u want to buy my disc dynamo wheel?

If bward doesn’t want your disc dynamo wheel, I need one for my Clydesdale. I was a dummy and bought a cheap front wheel when I first built it up. Now that both legs of my commute are in the dark on some days, I’m regretting not having a dynamo.

Well hop into my dms and let stalk

thanks, i’ve already got all the parts

It really is. Seeing different parts of the brushes sections popping in the light is awesome. Need to take better photos of it, either sups phone or little Sony a6000. SE v2 ain’t that great now.

have I said I like posting bad photos of bikes?
Got this for cheap today, brand new, some nicks. headset was uhhh, interesting. both bearings were between the crown race and bottom cup was never ridden. allegedly was won in a radio contest

posting an Affinity here has to be some sort of cardinal sin

oh wow that’s an affinity?

and it’s called the major?

and it’s “in partnership with famed cognac brand Hennessy”?

well how do i sign up for still not having anything to do with that?

Just curious, does your Spaceframe have 142mm front spacing?

there’s something about being able to see your handlebar through the clear grip that is very unsettling to me.

also wheres the rest of your saddle.

also that seatpost is too gold.

Yes the Jones Kraton grips that are the squishiest are clear, the other colors (aside from not being available) are harder. I wanted the orange ones because more colors is better.

Yes I believe that’s 142 front

Also I just want to reemphasize my thanks to those of you who gave me guidance, I really do not know anything at all about mountainbikes and the difference between where I was and where I am now in terms of comfort is night and day with just a few simple adjustments. I’m still not at the point where I can spend 12 hours on it like I can on a road bike, but 3-4 hours is perfectly comfortable at this point

Pretty sure “Kraton” is the same material as that used to make lifelike dildos. Um, not that I’d know anything about that

The grip is the grip

I request a short, yet detailed summary of what all was done.

You may want to try dropping the front tire to 15-17 psi for more comfort/traction.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I won’t run the clear Jones grips for the sole reason that they look weird when installed (ATMO).
