Partsbin geometry mule.

Took my old hardtail, put on a shorter fork to get moderne seat tube angle.

Funn bars are fun but deep ergo bends don’t really work.

Suntour barcons are the GOAT and shift the 10 speed cassette perfectly.

Will have to look into that. My rears are completely ornamental too. Not sure if it would help. Edit. Nahp. Wootin. I got the “worm” on the seat tube.

Need +10mm stem and to cut the steerer more but it’s a bike!

I love this bike so much that it’s hard not trying to replicate it. P. sure I have most of the bits necessary.

Summer tires on the foul weather basket bike. Rear fender got chewed up by studs and is awaiting replacement.

Did you de-anodize the cranks with the spider in place?

Sure did.

Did they offer a 28.6mm size in the past or is it shimmed?

I had to search for a while for a 28.6 collar for the day ruiner before finding the Axiom and having to special order it from a local shop.

I can’t remember… this one is not shimmed. But I want to say I didn’t take all the lip off just enough for it to slide on. So it definitely bites up.

That’s rad.
Speaking of altering bike parts to become other bike parts, I drilled and tapped this clamp on cable stop so it could become a mount point for the rear fender on my fixie which lacks a chainstay bridge.
