more pogie than bike at this point
I like Dominion, it’s a bit like magic except they nerfed the whole “massive investment in a private deck“ aspect— everyone builds their deck from the same pool of cards, and the pool changes with each game so you adapt your strategy
I have a 40lb box of every Dominion card, minus a few weirdo convention only cards (Sauna? no thank). It’s great, and the leveling of everyone starting with the exact same resources is nice. Unless you’re playing Knights or Castles, then it’s a miserable slog.
All the powerful MtG decks are like a few thousand in paper (and weirdly expensive on their digital arena too), so making the leap from casual to at all serious is a massive engagement.
i have some obsolete pokémon cards if anyone’s kids want some
I love dominion and will happily play online with any of you. add me my username is “fixed”
my coworker’s competition mtg deck or legacy or whatever it’s called costs $15k
One of my best buds has spent thousands in the last few years compiling complete sets of magic cards. As far as I can tell he never actually plays but he loves those cards.
I thought you wrote obscene and was actually interested for a moment.
no, but some of them are japanese and i’ve never translated them so it’s possible. if you get pokémon cards in your secret scantron, it was that other guy
Great taste in überwagons.
Sounds like everyone is ready for more MtG facts!
Getting ramp right is hard, and planning it means balancing your utility cards with your ramp engine and your payload, which puts both time and resource pressure on your deck. At most honest, there’s going to be some luck initially, unless you draw tutors and fetchlands on turn one.
In the current Standard, we will probably see a lot of blue splash to manage the edges of this strategy in Jund. The BRO cards are pushing for two color strategies, which makes ramp easier, but shuts down some more complex ramp if you’re using more artifacts
Looking to get a Volvo v60 wagon next year
I just test drove a 2016. It was pretty nice!
Hey guys, y’all heard about cars?!?
How are you liking the shape of the brake hoods?
These are all really good positions:
This one not so much because of the hook shape:
This one is especially good (same as #2 above):
Because the grip area is so long (compared to my rim brake Ultegra levers). Increases confidence when navigating any gnarly stuff.
I have these on Enve aero bars which are very compact and have a bit of flare and a flat top, so works well.
Be better if they were VO.
