only way i’m riding rigid off-road is if it’s a dumb bike that doesn’t really belong off-road. like a coffee grinder or a ditherer. i have no expectations of going fast or doing well off-road with those, so it’s fun again

Pukebacking is all about rigid too. So many retro-inspired brands basically making ATBs and drop bar 29ers again, just with better axles and brakes. And that’s 90% about vibing your way to the campsite and back.
