Dammit: Post your bike

Panasonic factory, I think. It’s got a “Schwinn Approved - Japan” badge on the head tube.

It’s a late 1977 Schwinn Super le Tour.

Weird lighting but this is the Pista these days.

It’s about to not have the OG fork on it for a while because it is bent. LBS says they can straighten it out, which means bringing the whole bike up there. Before I knew they could do it though, I picked up a 90s Kestrel carbon fork because I’ve always wanted to try a carbon fork, so I’m gonna run that for a while til I feel like getting the fork un-bent. Will probably have it on there for 2 years.

As you can see I also have a trisp0k up front which i put on for the lulz but has been there for 2 years because I’ve been procrastinating building the actual front wheel.

It also has a Flite on it right now, which I’m not that into, and will switch back to the Rolls, probably in 2 years.

Edit: or is that in response to seeing me on here

A celeste Pista with a trisp0k is very 2006

Haha yeah that’s the idea! I always thought it was a cool look on a steel frame but I was always too poor for a HED3. Finally got one after 17 years, but I went for the period-correct Specialized one which was quite difficult to track down (not that HED3 clinchers are easy to find on the cheap…) and is actually a rear wheel, but it’s the same wheel, just threaded on one side and with a fatter axle (which I had to file to get it in the dropouts).

I have a proper Campy Record high flange I need to get laced to the rim. Been slowly upgrading. Almost all of it is Campagnolo now.

THE DREAM IS ALIVE

I’m staring longingly at the last 60cm red Toyo Godzilla on Retrogression and daydreaming.

Then I slightly shift and feel my ever-increasing arthritis ache in my left knee.

Does it still have the pedobear sticker on the seattube?

Haha no, but I am pretty sure I still have the sheet of those (which is insane).

I think I also have some OG Tarck & Tarckbear stickers from back in the day in a box somewhere, which I’ve been thinking about trying to find so I can sticker up this carbon fork.

Roli has no camp this week so I’ve been riding a non-cargo bike! Feels like a damn rocket with the carbon wheels and light tires! Also, I’ve found that I can trackstand this thing almost effortlessly. After pushing 100+ pounds every day for years, I feel like I have superpowers when I throw a leg over this thing! Love this bike.

It’s the first setback adapter I found online and it just happens to be boingy (without it I can’t fit between the kid seat and my seat)

Yeah, I found that tough, too, even with a long top tube. I ended up putting a dropper post on, and just lowered it every time I came to a stop so I could put a foot down while staying in the saddle.

Haven’t found a dropper option for this 26.2 post :frowning:
