Dammit: Post your bike

Wish yall could have seen how bad I almost fucked up the install of the EBB. I can never talk about it because I would die of shame.

Does the flexstem even work when you’re on the grips?

Do I spy tape on the top tube?

Not a lot, maybe more when I try it on singletrack, but with the big squishy tires it’s hard to tell which part is doing what.

This suggestion saved my frame and fork several times over the build so big thanks great advice.

after wrenching at a shop doing parlees, mosaics, sevens and fireflys, I do all my builds with full hunk of pipe insulation taped to my top tube

I need to figure something out for my rack. It’s bashed the frame once already and it’s fine, but it needs to be managed.

I have some clear silicone edge protectors around somewhere from babyproofing times…

i think your headset is on upside-down

I’m surprised Jones doesn’t sell a slap bracelet protector.

It would be a weird size that doesn’t make sense but he would have paragraphs upon paragraphs ready to go to explain why his weird sized slap bracelets are superior.

I have a slap-bracelet kind of beer can koozie made from like thick neoprene and use it for frame protection when bikes are on the back of the car rack, it’s so convenient I should find another one for shop use.

Those things are great. We made some for promo purposes last year, but for some reason didn’t it again. Coozie-check. Frame protection while shuttling-check. blowing people’s minds when you do use it for the latter-check. And I guess advertising or whatever.

Is it top heavy like an Omnium?
I love it regardless of its faults

I think that’s one of the coolest bikes Ive ever seen.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

It handles well, but I’m never maxing out weight either.

I can lean it into turns at speed pretty aggressively and it can also negotiate relatively tight low speed turns as well.

Biggest thing I noticed is that compared to long and low front load bikes, this feels a lot more like a regular bike and hopping off this and getting straight on a regular bike isn’t funky.

tarck top tube koozie gb when?

This disc bag is a bit much for my ability and for the mostly mid-range length courses I play, but if it fits perfectly in the basket it must be the right size.
