Angle the bars down 10-15 degrees. You’ll also want to run them higher than you would regular bars. Lastly, consider a shorter stem.

I suck at bike photos. But I had a great ride today.
I need to rotate the bars forward a teeny wee bit and maybe bring the saddle up a couple of mms and maybe bring the nose up a hair.

One of my most prized possessions is a slap bracelet Sierra Nevada koozie that I got at the 2013 CX Worlds in Louisville. It even still has mud on it from the course.

All I have from worlds is scars on my knee and now my wife.
But SSCXWC the next year in Lousiville I still have my grocery tote after other one gave up the ghost. Their replacement is 2x the thickness which isn’t the worst. But you can’t see the SSCXWC14 imprint on the bag anymore, so sad.

Ive been working at another office the last 2 days. Managed to strap my laptop and civilian clothes onto my DBR, added another rack to the back. Went home via the Mt Vic trail system last night but shocked myself with how bad this thing felt. Small wheels, slick 1.5 rear tyre, no suspension, double DECKA chainrings. Love this bus on the way in this morning. The neighbours must hate these guys. Just how do you get rid of a bus?

yeah you need to clip in for the racing. If you don’t have them, needless to say, we would have you covered.
Platforms only until you hit Intermediate (unless you’re already Int then my bad)
I need to get back to the track now that summer is here and everyone’s health looks good currently
You guys are right. Extra motivation for clipless is there’s timing for lap times now and I want to go fast. Found an unused number plate from when I raced before. Need to find out what my number’s going to be and it will be complete.
It’s nice that there’s enough guys my age to race and they’re pretty quick.
