Bought the 34 external 650b rims in 32h and 28h sets, then panicked that they were too wide, bought a 28 external 650b 28h set, and now the road set since I realized I got hubs. So 4x unless they send me something wrong.

oh i didn’t realize those came in 32h oh well.

i might get some road rims to hoard. why not

That makes them not much better than light bicycle. Anyway, now I need to save money to hire fergs architect friend

Right on. I hadn’t checked LB prices. I got my 650b rims for 30 bucks, so I was content. Though that is sup’s enduro bike at this point and could get Spec rims in 28h for less than these at 50% off, too. But also don’t need to sink money into that when the move will take monies, too.

OK, can someone make a cheat sheet for the pub rims? I wanna join in the bad decisions and put a few rims in my already over packed bike room.

What are the options for 700c? I see the rim brake jawns but 17mm is far too narrow. Anything 23-25ish? Want a stupid carbon tracklocross wheelset.

I’m so sorry for this but I just had to get it out of my head

The interesting 700c i24 rims would be the gravel jawns which are more expensive, but still a ~50% discount from comparable options:

There are a few newer i30 progressive options but they start at over double the cost of these discounted jawns: NEXTIE - Gravel AGX Series

I already copped the 650b variant which is more like i25 wide, and has a really nice molded valve hole to have a strong flat surface on the assymetric profile:

can’t fucking help it can I

someday I’ll rebuild my Time SONXS dynamo wheelset again for the last time with these road rims

I’m holding out for TAKE75 before I hoard more rims

so as a degenerate who bought 28h rims:
15/100 CL front hub has an SLX, XT, and dt350 option
qr/135 CL 11s rear hub… origin8 and onyx? 350 should be an option still but I don’t see it

Deals so good I had to build a frame around them.

for the dt350 rear with a Road 11 freehub you would buy the 142/12 version and swap the endcaps for QR

oh, yeah it makes sense that the spacing would also change. thank you

have you tried aliexpress yet?

i’m pretty sure i actually have these endcaps in stock. but that gives me other ideas since i have a 135 qr bike…

I looked a bit ago and thought I found what I needed but I was mistaken

Bro I got u endcaps
