I’m a long way off from actually building these. Need a bike to know hub stuff, right? I’m assuming I get some kind of thru axle bike next but it’d be nice if they’re compatible with my GT.

How are rear triangles spaced these days and how swappable are QR and thru axles? Most likely scenario is a dyno front wheel and a back wheel each for my new hypothetical 11s thru axle sram bike, and my current shimano 9s QR bike. But if I can make a set that works with both bikes with a single pair that’d be nice

Good book, but for some reason, every time I follow the instructions as well as I can understand them, I end up off by one hole.

Sheldon’s instructions got me on track, though these days, I just go from memory, usually.

i mean how hard is she gonna go? i don’t think these are at risk of inherently exploding. though i haven’t built mine up. i say buy them for <$50 and if anyone says theirs exploded, save it for when you get sol for your scantron. JUST KIDDING THROW THEM OUT BUT IT WAS ONLY $50

Pbk has been on a downward spiral for a while IMO. They’re not able to compete with wiggle/b24 on anything othet than price and that just means they can’t make any margin.
