I can’t think of a single style or type of bike I wouldn’t want to own for at least a little bit.

That stupid fold up triangle thing that was in all the design magazines 10 years ago?

Still would
And would make a weight weenie build out of it with subtle references to popular nerd bike culture. Like add a basket and paint it Sachs red.

When you raised the the seat the cockpit got shorter and it was all proprietary parts. Like I think they specked their own belt drive very early in belt drives

Yep, would

strida?

i saw one for like $75 or something dumb on cl in 2010 and kinda wanted to give it a quick whirl

I’d ride any stupid bike, if I could build it right for me. Try me.

Imagine the huge ass frame bag you could fit on a strida plus the front and rear racks would be super low.

You wanna buy my Fargo that’s set up like a Jones?

Didn’t, but only because my framebuildeuer is mostly done with my jones-like with sliding dropouts and a longer wheelbase.

I mean yeah kinda.

$21 shipped with “SAVE10” code

out of season but

What the fuck good to anyone is three mittens?

Kinda feel like I’m growing as a person too because I didn’t consume the purple Jones immediately after knowing it existed and then waiting a whole day and a half before consuming it after hearing about the sale. I also didn’t buy the REI ebike.

Although the very next day I bought parts to replace the brakes and almost the entire drivetrain on the Jones.

The win-loss count is still positive.

I kinda regret not buying the REI ebike.

I bought the e-bike, cancelled my order and don’t regret it. I will get some flack for this but I got a very lightly used Radwagon 4 (<200 miles) for $800 and like it so much more. It feels more powerful, has more cargo capacity, throttle and just handles better. Yeah the wheels/tires are proprietary and that may get frustrating down the road but the wheel size seems like a sweet spot. It handles better than the 20in and is more stable than the 26in, especially when top loaded. I got it for riding my kiddo to daycare and it came with all of the fixings (caboose bars, wood runners, padded seats etc). I like how modular it is and despite having a used battery it gets great range (28 miles on mostly max assist with average speed of 20-24mph) I increased the speed cut off to 24mph and it doesn’t feel unstable even in the high 30s when going down hill. Yeah I may need to buy some extra parts if they ever go out of business but they seem like a good value for now.

I’m happy to see a model that isn’t 6’2” unlike Outlier but I think those measurements are suspect
