The war is on. I’ve bought a big box of traps to increase the trap density. I’m experimenting with baits. Ive used wet dog food, nutella and chocolate sauce.

I think the rats are cyclical in my house because they have never got tired of peanut butter. They tend to show up in the attic as the weather cools off, I can hear the fuckers at night and always try to believe it is roof squirrels but it is always rats. Diligently manning the traps for a couple weeks usually seems to take care of it.

The place where I set the traps is right above my TV so I’ve heard them get got a couple times. They don’t always go real quick.

MAybe figure where they’re getting in
It’s outside under the foundation and then into the walls

i actually got an update from a friend of mine who lives closer to the city than me. confirmed there ARE rats in rochester. they don’t seem to want to come in anyone’s houses.

because i have gigantic trees all over my property, i don’t have a rat problem…i have a chipmunk problem. little fuckers like to burrow into the area between the foundation and the walls. at some point long ago, before i lived here, one made it into the ductwork and set up shop with about 500 acorns

i have a truly outrageous amount of acorns on my 0.2 acres.

Hate to break up ratchat, but 260€ for Di2 with post-mount calipers seems pretty low.

Anything wrong with 785 Di2?

I think that’s the one that occasionally has leaky pistons that make for screechy brakes.

Leaky pistons and a ton of free stroke which cannot be adjusted.

Tons of free skrt

The mile long free stroke was not an issue for me and my pistons did not leak. That being said if you need to bring in the reach there is a good chance the lever will bottom out on the drops before full engagement.

Fits pretty well. Great deal for 700 metric dollars.

Added tape and fixed the saddle, which is like that from doing wheelies in the alley without the bolt clamped down all the way

Thanks tarck

853 LeMonds for cheap (for now)

loves me an 853 lemond

Fuck, and that first one is a 60cm…:unamused:

And included free aero bars!

This looks like someone bought identical bikes and set one up for TT/tri and the other up for road/crit.

I already have enough parts to donate, I’d just want the frame anyways to hang a modern group on.

Like a Gunnar roadie with a 60cm top tube?

Edit : wait yeah no I gotta sell it complete
