I sure wouldn’t
beautiful colourway on that
does anyone want a lynskey? they’re doing half off frames and completes
they used to dump things on ebay as like a promotion regularly, I think I paid 700- for my fat frame
they still seem to do this unless that is what you were referring to
huh, that sounds like a better deal potentially. this is just half off all the bikes on their website.
There are a bunch of them on there right
lynsky going out of business sale?
Ran out of submarines?
Feels like they’ve been going out of business for a decade
Bless them for finding a sustainable business model!

I think they follow the J Crew model of “things are on sale much more frequently than things are full price”
Fuck the sellwood track serotta is still around
For anyone near Portland, OR, the Fat Tire Farm in NW is closing for good. I just got an email that they’re starting a sale on 3/18, “To kick things off, we’ll offer 20% off all 2025 bikes, 30% off all parts and accessories, and VERY deep discounts up to 50% or more off older model year bikes.”
I bought my Norco Bigfoot there in like 1989. They also do a lot of promoting for local trail builds and MTB events. They will leave a big hole in the MTB scene, for sure.

Bummer, and only 10years after 21ave
Where is the nearest bike shop?
For a bike town like Portland we certainly don’t have many bike shops
West End is also closing, but that was a high-end roadie shop.
RCB is probably the best bike shop in the core. There’s the Trek store, but their stock is really limited. Further out, there’s Cyclepath near Lloyd (assholes, atmo), Metropolis in NoPo, and Sellwood Cycles. Universal is out near the Beaverton TC, now. Cascade Bikes moved from Tigard to near Universal, but still out in the suburbs.
Comparatively… Seattle doesn’t feel like a bike town and has a ton of shitty bike shops.
The new Universal spot seems like a glorified bike showroom now. They don’t have nearly the same amount of product on display. I was able to add some random bits to an online order, so they may just have most of it in the back.
Bummer about FTF. I bought my Tallboy there and the owner was nice enough to bring down a Devinci cross frame from the HQ when no one else was touching the brand locally.
