Sorry, that might have been me
30% off all bags at Swift.

What?
just seems like a perpetual sale over there.
If everything is always on sale is anything ever on sale?
yeah if youāre paying full price for a swift bag youāre messing up!
When that container of newnew is about to clear customsā¦or bike camping season is about to end.
I bought a stem pouch from swift sale. Missed out on free wallet.
Can anybody comment on how Swift quality is this day? Iāve never bought anything from them, kinda need another stem or handlebar bag, even at 30% off they seem a little overpriced to me right now but if they are good for the price I guess I have a few days to consider
I bought a couple bar bags a couple years back when they were 40% off, theyāre fine. I was a little underwhelmed with the quality but I think maybe thatās just because xpac feels thin compared to cordura.
probably fine for a stem caddy, I donāt think Iād buy their zeitgeist again
Iāve been using their sugarloaf bag for 10+ years. Itās goodā¦. That could have been before they stopped making them in the states.
CBO was blowing out Vaast E1 Enviolo ebikes for $2k. Apparently they originally sold for $8600. Lights, fenders, racks, the whole deal.
Anyway, ya boi has an ebike on the way. Gonna try some lazy ebike camping.
The vaasts have been getting closed out for 3+ years now. Kinda a funky full squish jawn, but were pretty solid builds. I only hopped aboard the xt one, and that seemed like a banging deal when it was about that price.
Yeah, this is the one: Vaast Bikes E/1 XT/SLX 27.5 E-Bike - Nostalgic Sea Blue-Ocean Frost ā Planet Cyclery
Kinda felt bad for a dude who bought one before the floor fell out on the price, but he seemed to like it and obviously had enough money it wasnāt a big deal.
Oh, and lift it by the rack, not the seat. The seatpost is the battery housing and I seem to remember them not having the best latch.
Yeah, I think thereās a sticker on there reminding to not lift by seat. The seatpost is square, notched, and the seat height is held by a spring loaded teeter-totter latch, from what I can see.
So ebike lifted by seat goes bbbrrrrrrr
Just test rode the ebike to and from a local campsite, unloaded. Only used half the battery. Should be plenty of range with a camping load.
$1500 Bosch ebike now, pretty good
Iām digging the crazy Enviolo cvt rear hub so far. I test rode the original Nuvinci jawn ~2009 when it weighed twice as much. Pretty intuitive, although it has the same backwards action as the Alfine on a previous bike.
Took me a while to get used to the direction but happy overall with it on the Carrie.
New $1500 price is stellar
have yāall ridden the automatic ones? That + a Bosch e bike with an auto mode is pretty fun to ride. Just ride how you want and it keeps you at like 90ish rpm.
