Did you just ShartQ?

You can still get redwall 45s from Resist for $24.

Demolition Parts claims that they’re in stock in every size (redwall only for 45s, though) so if they’re not being made there are still vendors with a lot of tires sitting in their stockrooms.

yeah, and 6 years ago that same light was $150

thanks guys those tires look perf.
how many OZ of sealant in each tube do you recommend?

The idea is to have a light that will be on a lock up bike in NYC. No battery packs, no handlebar attachment, no taking off the bike.

2-3 oz is what Stans recommends for this size tire, so I put in 3.

thanks, I ordered those nomad redwall tires and some plain stans, We’ll see how the red pedals and tires take this bike to the next level

Hey does anyone know about the Trek Roscoe 8? It seems like a lotta bike for the buck.

these sort of bikes are out of my league but
the bmx bros have a few similar norcos in stock at a similar pricepoint

Where’s that shop at?

Wow that is a lot of bike for the buck!

NX Eagle is whack tho atmo. I don’t have any real rationale in saying that besides the fact that the dangler is 90% plastic. I’ll have more hot takes next summer when some of those conversion kits come back for service.

Yeah, feel of it is all hella plastic-y.
Kinda like the absolute garbage sram guide t they seem to be putting on things now. Don’t even get the easier reach adjust.
Maybe just pull the 12s NX eagle and sell/trade for some 11s stuff. You don’t need a 50t in the midwest. Save weight and get better shifting.

Fork might not give you all of it either.

I’ve got a 120mm fork and those numbers on my Pine Mountain 2 - not saying bigger fork won’t give you more, but in collabo with 3in 27.5 tires it feels pretty great in my experience. You certainly can’t beat that price holy smokes.

Oh I meant quality wise, not travel. Judy Silver Solo Air is not a Fox 34.

Not sure of Tarcks’ opinion of Santa Cruz Chameleon, but that might be worth a look too. Or that Salsa Timberjack SLX. Salsa Cycles | Adventure by Bike

NX - eagle isn’t all that terrible in theory.

It’s really just the derailleur that’s functionally inferior to GX. But you’re probably gonna smash it anyway and upgrade.

The rest is just weight. Steel direct mount ring that’s easily upgraded when worn. Solid forged arms and a dub spindle isn’t that terrible.

The non-XD cassette is heavy but at least it’s not a $200+ wear part.

Very upgradable and I’d take this over a deore 1x10 setup any day.

Yeah NX really isn’t that bad. It doesn’t feel great, but it’s better than X7 from 8 or 9 years ago.

SQ who makes a cheap tandem and also offers prodeals on that tandem
the used market here is kinda crazy

I see ~$500 tandems all the time on Denver craigslist.

yeah, the denver/boulder/foco area has probably the highest number of craigslist tandems I’ve seen
