Have you had mysore pak?

It was a joke.
And no, I havenāt tasted ghee. Havenāt had dairy in nearly 10 years and I donāt think Iād ever heard of it before that.

Ah, forgot you were vegan.
If you werenāt, Iād espouse the virtues of ghee. Itās good stuff. Then again, so is really good olive oil.
Iāve been looking at budget wheelsets to get my road bike tubeless. Looked at Hunt and noticed that all of their alloy wheels say that you shouldnāt run 38mm tires any higher than 45psi. Iām used to running them at 55-60 on the stock wheels on my Niner.
I think theyāre just being conservative. Though 45PSI seems a little high. Thatās about the pressure Iād run at ~100kg body weight.
budget wheelsets
This guy is carbon and comes in under $500 if you choose Novatec hubs:
AR36 (disc brake) wheelset is right for you if you value quality, comfort, and speed. Your best-budget well-rounded All Road wheelset. For clincher of 23-43c.
thatās way way too much pressure for 700x38! thatās what i run 700x32 at and i probably have about 25 kilos on you.

Ghee is great.
mysore pak
squats will fix this

Good to know

Probably fairly flimsy rims that get wonky at high pressure. Early Stans stuff was really susceptible to this too. Spoke tension can drop considerably. Or they could just being conservative so someone doesnāt blow off a tire with a less than ideal bead.
In my experience, Max rim pressures shouldnāt be scoffed at.
I am loath to feed Kyle more rules to adhere to but this is right
higher pressures and/or narrower tires exert a lot more force on the rim, compressing it radially (tension drop) and spreading the walls apart (blowoff)
all tubeless-ready rims do this, but itās exaggerated without a tube in there, and traditional rim profiles are far worse about it especially when lightweight
everything cool got U-shaped and/or hookless for good reasons
I dummy bought Tubus Duo without having a pass-through top eyelet - do I have options or should I return it?
They have this
That deadline isnt compatible with the duo tho. Some guy on reddit made a custom fixture for the task but didnt post closeups
Oh yeah, reading is funduhmental
Any idea who this is? He didnāt leave contact info https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycletouring/comments/ckj7wn/brackets_that_make_tubus_duo_lowrider_rack/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body
I realize youāve only been on tarck for so long
And I appreciate that you are aware of how nerdy this place gets
But asking if maybe we know some random poster on Reddit with 12 karma and 5 comments is kind of like
Hey do you know that guy that plays a banjo and also rides bikes?
Also
Dafuk is going on here
Whats going on is that longhair romanceman was a mistake.
Maybe I overbelieved in tarckmajik.

Got it.
Will drop my pressure on my next ride.
Thing is only like 5 people here actually ride bikes any more.
