Dithering for Two: Tandem Dithering

that’s not a bad idea, but the thing with the wheels is that we have a pitlock and bolt on axle because pre-covid we were riding it to bars in the mission and long form dinners. Plus with the big apples you have to deflate the tires to get them past the brake pads. So taking the wheels off becomes its own whole thing, and is another point in favor at least a new tandem with discs.

I have one of these: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/d/san-anselmo-cannondale-mtb-mountain/7232001091.html

Fits a 2.5 extraterrestrial up front, up to about 2.3 out back, and it’s amazing how light it is being all-uminum. Also that looks like the right size and as long as you can haggle real good, it might be worth it. Not for $3k though

Or this one, which is disc-compatible: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/d/richmond-2000-cannondale-mt-800-tandem/7230900552.html
