Data analsis.

Imaginin what this is.

This actually sounds really fun…in a sort of Edward Jenner/smallpox injected into himself sort of way.

Sort of like Andrew Tillin except I would never do it during a race.

Funny that…I remember my doctor specifically telling me to take it before doing group rides and laughing a few years ago…
I think I just got the joke.

All the data collection aside, you can try one way and the other and see how you feel. The data won’t be empirical by any means, but you might gain some insight.

i’ve got till the 18th for RGR
i’m a fat, slow, turd and have no form and i hate the bike i’m gonna ride
it gives me saddle sores and ghost cock
i also have like about $275
what kind of drugs should i take?

$275 in illegal street drugs. They will not help you win but they will help you forget that your a fat, slow, turd who has sores and a numb penis.

head over to PSU and buy a couple adderall/ritalin from any kid in the library who refers to themselves as “pre-med”

then pretend you’re coppi and ride off the front until your heart explodes.

also: I know that feel on the fatty factor bro. I think I’m almost at 165 now cos not riding volume. On a side note my thighs and calves no longer fit into my jeans, though my waist size hasn’t really changed all that much…my beer keg on the other hand. I call it my anatomical hydration pack.

Mountain Biking made me fat. Where I used to take a 140km ride on the weekends, now I take a 40km MTB ride. Hence, fat.

After riding lifts this past weekend, I’ve learned that riding nothing but downhill will get you nothing but 2 strong braking fingers.

^ not true bro, hella core strengfs

And arms and legs.

You’d of course need to relax those braking finger muscles to find out though :colbert:

^ haha my shopbro rode the 29er i took out exactly twice
“man these brakes are fucking cooked, what asshole roadie tried to rally this thing?”

the brake finger runs strong in my clan bro

do you think knowing that he could win took the feeling out of winning?

Type A guy new to the sport is what I already assumed when I heard about this, and sure enough…

He was going to hit a wall soon and given his personality and bank account he probably was well positioned to do some even dumber shit.

I guess I mainly feel sorry for him. I dunno.

^ Seth nails it.

Doubtful. I can’t say what was going on with that guy emotionally, but his stated motive is to discourage anyone else from doping. This just reinforces my point throughout the entire course of this thread, which is that if someone cares enough about being faster that they jump through all the hoops, that he did, that PEDs are the next logical step with nothing more than a moral barrier to overcome. He dosed HGH at reasonable levels and elevated his hematocrit to around 50%, which is precisely what I’d do if I cared that much.

Another thing to take-away from this is the fact that the PEDs certainly didn’t allow him to train less. Having made an attempt at being fast and sucking at it, I can say that the overarching desire is to be able to train more with more intensity and to be able to recover more easily. That would certainly be the real draw for me. If it were possible to sit on the couch and get faster (it’s not possible) then I doubt that’d be appealing to these sorts of people. However, having the ability to suffer even more? Man, I get erect just thinking about it.

Yeah. A driven dude with an aging body that was not cooperating with his desire to train like a maniac.

its more than a moral problem he now has to live with himself after essentially lying to everyone…because everyone is under the assumption that you are not doping…and knowing that none of his wins really meant anything at all. and now he can’t even ride a bike…and he wasn’t even enjoying it while doping. pretty fuckin stupid if you ask me
