if you are riding 28 you probably don’t mid the puncture protector crew.
I wanna try the 4seasons so bad. the tread patterns is super uggo though
Why would you even care what the tread looks like? You don’t even see it.
Except when you ride your bike?
how slow do you have to be going to be able to look down at your front wheel and contemplate the aesthetic shortcomings of the tread pattern on your tire?
you guys are being absurd

Whatever. AYHSMB.
SMB indeed. Lady and I are getting custom rings made and my design is a variation on the Big Apple tread. Gonna be awesome.

cant see a lot of things on a bike that well when you’re riding it. tread pattern’s still uggo
Surprisingly comfortable. Probably has a lot to do with how little weight I’ve got on my hands. Also, the flare of the Woodchippers allows my hand to rest moreon the of the side of the hood, rather than putting all the pressure on the rather narrow top edge.
Consequently, this is also the first setup where a B-17 has given me all of it.
Word BAs tread pattern is pretty awesome! Gotta try them out if you get a chance. They really rock out
Yeah, dudes. Pics will be shared. Should be cast and finished in the next couple weeks.
x-poast:
do you have a side view of this beast?
Why yes, yes I do. Got buried in the PYB thread a while back.
Have since dropped a spacer, installed more bottle cages, generator wheel and lights. Front rack to come when I can figure out one with platform and beefy sides that can clear bigass tires n’ fenders.
And another from a haul I made this weekend. Good to finally have a geared bike I’m comfortable loadin’ down.
damn, that thing is SERIOUS business. the fork mounted bottles are a nice touch.
Awesome bike Ben.
Thanks, doods. Oh, and Les- those bars are on me. It’s taken me too damn long to send 'em. Sorry bout that!
no worries dude
ben, what’s the pannier? that thing looks pretty massive.
Jamey - that’s a Bontrager Interchange Waterproof pannier that my manager gave me for testing purposes. I’ve put it through hell and pouring rain and it’s withstood the abuse quite well. It is indeed massive.
