I started it back in June, but didn’t finish it recently because the frame was backordered.
Frame/fork: Scattante SSR from Performance Bike
Headset: Cane Creek S3
Stem: Salsa
Handlebars: Nashbar Time Trial bullhorns wrapped with shellaced green cotton tape, tied with twine
Brake: Nashbar Time Trial lever with Nashbar dual pivot road brake
Wheelset: Mavic CXP22 laced to Surly Jim Brown track hubs via DT DB spokes
Tires: Vittoria Zaffiro 700x25c
Cranks: Shimano 105 172.5mm
Bottom Bracket: Shimano UN-54 68x107mm
Chainring: Sugino 130bcd 46t 1/8" “standard ring”
Cog: Surly 17t 1/8" track cog
Chain: Generic Bell chain from Wal-Mart (great chain for $5)
Saddle: Brooks Champion Special (Green)
Seatpost: Easton
I still have some tuning and tweaking to do. Once I’m comfortable with the cockpit, I’ll trim the steerer tube flush with the stem, right now I have 2" excess and might have more once I’m ready to trim it. Bike is a rocket though. I thought the gearing might be a bit stiff for the hills in our area, but it wasn’t bad during my test ride last night. I might ride this bike if I do the Seagull Century (dead flat no hills) this year.

Pics or there is zero point to this thread.
And also, there’s no point to this thread, there’s another thread for this purpose.
You really start a whole fucking thread about your crappy bike with a big list of componants and no fucking pics?
NOBODY FUCKING CARES!!!
You cared enough to reply.

I’ll get pics after I finish the little things. Right now there’s about 2" of steerer above the stem and an inch or three of excess brake cable housing (waiting to trim it after bar height is set). Besides, I finished the bike up at 11pm last night and haven’t had time to take pics yet.
I didn’t notice the other thread. Maybe a mod can move this into that thread.
Seriously, what were you hoping in response to this thread? “Sounds like a great bike have fun wit hit haw haw pat back”? Make a contributing thread don’t just list your bike, infact chances are if it’s about your bike we already have a thread for what you were going to say in it.
