FOOTBALL and the "fixxie way"

He probably has to. This is kind of one of those activities pro teams don’t like you doing so you don’t hurt yourself off the field.

btw, the more the merrier

i actually enjoyed the article.

Nice flip-flop hub todd. :colbert:

It’s nice to see a guy talking all positive about his own bike, rather than seeing a whole bunch of guys talking all negative about everyone else’s.

You can tell that he actually enjoys riding it. I’d love to see some pics of it.

Rumor has it he’s in the new MASH

I invited him to the site. We’ll see if it happens.

Yeah, because no one’s ever been hurt while driving a car.
Ever.

We all know it makes no sense, but teams always have clauses like that. It’s just to cover their ass in case you do something dumb as can’t play anymore. Like when Brian Griese fucked up his ankle playing basketball, and had to miss the rest of the season.

thats awesome

I liked the article.

I loled.

I feel about 1000% safer riding my bike through heavy midday traffic than sitting in a car on the highway.

Oh I hear ya. I just remember hearing about ridiculous contract clauses like the one that could have cost Kellen Winslow his career when he nearly severed his leg in a motorcycle wreck in a parking lot. Actors have these too. Usually TV shows that would be interrupted mid season.

I read that a while ago, but I like how he talks about the people around here. Its pretty close to true. Everyone is really supportive of each other and 99% of the people around here are really cool people and really down to earth. I think I have actually only dealt with one dude who was particularly a jackass, but even then its not like he was being overtly jackass.

I think he may live in downtown, because I think I’ve seen him before down that way. Its hard to say because the Surly Steamroller is a really popular bike around here. Especially in brown. I also like how he went to campus cyclery. I know the dude who built that bike for him.

I agree rusty. I don’t trust other drivers on the freeway for shit.

:bear:

thats really cool

NFL player commuting to work on bike

whether its fixed or not, or whether he keeps calling it a partyfoul, or makes awkward comments about flip flop hubs, haha

Try driving it rather than just sitting in it. You might find that to be a bit safer.

No, not at all.
