Ti bottle bosses
Rare bird for me- a road fork with no room to bolt stuff on other than a wheel stopper.
Eric can you post some more photos of your latest bespoken bike?
The one that I was putting together (as in, assembling) today? If so, wait till tomorrow. Then plan is to photograph it, so some mild editing, and try to post photos tomorrow evening. At least that’s the plan.
If you mean some other bike, let me know.
And the fork above is for a Serotta to replace an Enve.

Am I correct that there is no off the shelf flat mount fork fitting?
Integrated with the dropout or t-a, or at all? (Paragon has some individual ones that they claim to be for chainstays, but one round tube is as good as another, and Framebuilder Supply in pdx has modules that are have both mountpoints on a curved plate (advertised for chainstays, but one round tube etc…)
Not exactly framebuilding on this thing, but giving an old Spanish frame disco fever. The Paragon dropouts are not quite the same angle as the rear triangle on this machine, so either it’s going to have the existing seatstays curved to point into the dropouts, yolo, or lop the seatstays off altogether and make it another member of the triple triangle crew.
Front and rear flat mount are very different in how the caliper/adapter connects to the frame or fork.
Every fork mount I have seen executed seems to be completely custom. Nothing really geared towards mass production.
And of course they are. Sigh.
Still has an adapter.
That’s a post mount caliper, isn’t it?
No shit, he doesn’t have a flat mount brake yet.
We’re talking about mounts, aren’t we?
It would have been nice to see the mount with a flat mount brake mated to it.
Even most flat mount calipers use a rear with a system native adapter for the front (Campy may be the exception?).
As far as I know, there are no currently available options. I’m not sure how their would be- it’s not quite as straight forward of a system, and it was definitely designed around carbon and mass production.
Very in to that grey
Thanks- I wanted it to be nice, but sort of a sleeper if I had to lock it up during travel.
This may be the ticket.
